Taking a Break: WIP

Submitted into my gallery because I need feedback and I doubt my [very few] watchers watch my scraps, so...

Anyway, I kept getting tired of working on my entry for the A-Kon T-Shirt contest, so instead I worked on this. I'm liking how it's coming along so far, but alas... I am stuck on the ocean... Yeah, they're sitting on a dock over water, but I don't know how to do water, and I can't find the right tutorial or reference for the angle I want. Help plz? T_T

Characters are my own, original. The girl is Addie and the guy is Rhys. I at first had no idea what to name them, but my homie told me a few names from this book she's reading, so I was like, 'Yah, I'll use those!' At first these two were just gonna be in my entry described above, but since I'm stuck in this One Piece addiction, I've decided to give them a story and now I'm planning on making a short (maybe) manga with them! I've already figured out some plot and more characters, too. But I really need to stick to one, finish it off, and move on to the next. Someone plug my brain! I shouldn't allow anymore ideas in! >.<'''''''
